Multiple Artists Picture Book Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

The twelve pictures of flowers and (or) birds shown in this gallery were included in an undated picture album entitled Wakan Shuga Meika Gafu (i.e., Picture Album of Chinese and Japanese Paintings by Celebrated Artists). It was published by Shōzandō Shoten. These pictures were drawn in the style of the famous Japanese artist Sesshū Tōyō (1420-1506). Click on a picture to enlarge it.
